  1. plant die-> herbivores dies-> primary consumer dies-> secondary consumer dies........

if all plant ( producer-> they make their own food) died, herbivore wouldn't have any feeding resource so hence they'll die out eventually..... without herbivore, the consumers that feed on them would eventually dies out from starvation-> higher level consumer that feed on the lower level consumer would eventually dies out too.......    Is a chain reactions because only primary producer are able to produce their own food source, everyone else relies on their surrounding/ environment..... I mean u can argue decomposer would survive but eventually they'll dies too after they decompose everything..... because their isn't anything for them to feed on ( decomposes ).

  2. Apparently, scientists think most animals are herbivores. Therefore, if all the plants died most animals would not have anything to eat and then starve to death, causing widespread exctinction!! lol too much caffeine =)

  3. 1. because if all plants died, what would convert the CO2 to breathable O2?

    2. because the noncarnivorous animals (i forgot the right word for them, the animals that don't eat meat) would die coz of no food, and the carnivors would eventually eat eachother :)

  4. The way the food chain works. The energy from the sun would have no way to get to the animals because usualy the plants gather light energy. Without plants the energy flow would stop.
