  1. It's there to kick government abuse and authority to the curb.  Not that the current government (Both Liberal and NeoCon) haven't found ways around it when it suits thier agenda.


  2. because it say that you are protected by double jeapordy, which means if you are proven innocent for a crime then you cant be arrested for the SAME thing you were proven innocent for but you still can be guilty for the same trial, also military courts are diifferent with a different set of rules, and also you dont need to answer to anyone but th ejudge/grand jury because thats your trail
