Nowhere -near- enough room here for all of that.  Basically the characteristics of any capacitor are controlled by its construction geometry and by the characteristics of the dielectric material used in its construction.

You might try some of the larger capacitor manufacturers (Sprague, Sangamo, National Capacitor, Nichicon, Murata-Erie, Panasonic, etc.) and see how much applications information they have about capacitor types and their applications.
