Explaining how the reproduction differs among the following?

organisms: bear, grasshopper, fish, bacteria.

If anyone has done this before can you let me know if it is related to the reproduction of humans, because I'm just lost.

  1. bears reproduce similar to humans because they are mammals.

    Bacteria just split into two bacteria when they are ready, they don't really "reproduce". The closest they come is conjugation, where they exchange genetic material, but that doesn't occus at the same time they split in two.

    Fish fertilize eggs outside of their body--different from mammals which fertilize eggs inside their body, and ive live birth.

    Grasshoppers fetilize their eggs internally, but them lay them for hatching.

    So the main differences are Bears have internal fertilization and live birth. Grasshoppers have internal fertilization, but lay eggs that hatch for birth.

    Fish have external fertilization and the eggs hatch externally.

    Bacteria don't fertilize eggs at all.

    5. Human reproduction will be most closely related to bear as they were both mamals , warm blodded, need sexual union for reproduction.
