"all things dread time but time dread pyramids.."

please explain this saying!..

  1. "All things dread time" - meaning everything will eventually come to an end at one point or another.

    "but time dreads the pyramids." - means that even time can not ruin the great pyramids. They will withstand the test of time and not crumble under the pressure of time.     okay.

    it saying, that everything(you and me, etc.) fears ends,death,the endings of things we love,etc.

    but time itself, fears pyramids,because, there is no equality, no proper ending to itself,because each point is it's own, and is not part of a definite inclusive ending.
