I have a 720p Samsung LCD tv. When I bought the TV, it needed an atenna to watch local channels. I got the atenna and the local channels were visible but weren't crystall clear. I started playing with channels going from 1-100. I eventually found HD channels that were crystal clear with on static. Now whenever I open my local channel it's just the HD channel I found. Soon everything's going digital and I'm wondering what's gonna happen. Kinda worried about what will happen to my TV because it still needs an atenna in order to have those HD channels.

  1. Please ignore the poster above me.  You are already receiving digital signals from your antennae.  Antennas can all receive analog and digital signals.  From now on you will just have all of those digital channels that you've already been enjoying.

  2. by "everything is going digital," that means that all content will be broadcast digitally, rather then analog.  old tvs, as in most crt tvs only have an analog tuner, which can only recieve analog channels.  all flatscreen tvs have a digital tuner inside. when everything goes digital, you need to either get cable or get a new antenna
