I lived in PA for 6 years and moved to Va in 2007 worked for a company for 65 days and was let go, called PA and collected for 26 weeks unemployment ran out in May of 2008, when I inquired about the extension they said I did not qualify because I worked in VA for 65 days and need to file a new claim there. I am very confused because I collected from PA for 26 weeks why would I not be eligible for the extension, they also stated if VA denied my claim then I could come back to PA and claim my extension, I am very confused and upset that this happened to me if any one has any answers please reply. it just does not seem fair.

  1. Its so bureaucratic.  Go online and find the filing method for VA, then you can get the most money for your claim.  Good luck
