Question:

External hard drive with movies connected to Xbox 360?

I was wondering how I connect my external hard drive which is chuck full of .avi movies, to my xbox 360 so I can watch them using my xbox on my TV. Is this possible or whats the deal? I have a xbox 360 Elite unit and my external hard drive is a SimpleTech brand SimpleDrive with 320 GB of space.

  1. If you external drive is formatted with FAT32, it will work just fine.  If it is formatted as NTFS, then the 360 can't read it.
