Possible reason for the extinction of the dodo and Moa and the survival of other large flightless birds

The moa was huge...they probably made tasty steaks. Imagine the size of THAT drumstick...OMG! Too bad they're gone though, they looked pretty cool...A bird you might not want to p**s off though!
