  1. day light robbery

  2. I shop in Waitrose and they never charge half that.  I suspect their cash machine got its decimal points mixed up.  Well done for insisting on the refund - outrageous !

  3. Far too expensive.

  4. Man - those prices seem well high!

    A beefeater tomato - 50p-60p, two large mushrooms 80p-90p!

The world has gone/is going mad!

  5. They are definatly robbing you, what were they made of? gold!  write to trading standards and demad they look into it. In the mean time shop somewhere else.

  6. Seems to be the way things are going, I almost picked up a small tin of tuna today until I realised it was £1.63!

That was the Coop as well, only shop in the village unfortunately.

  7. Extortionate???  Unbelievable, I think, unless the items were gold plated!  Glad you didn't get rooked.  I would expect a whole salad plus the meat to go with it for those prices.  Change your shopping venue straight away.

  8. Seriously over priced. Where I live in France the same would cost around 50 pence - maximum

  9. No definitely not right, that sounds like you were maybe charged the kilo price for one tomato and they weighed the mushrooms on 1/4 or 200 grams setting, whatever it is, but entered the kilo price - how do I know?......I realised my mistake years ago when someones 1/4 mushrooms ended up coming up, price wise, at a ridiculous amount!.....I knew it was wrong! They weren't prices but mistakes - beef tomatoes generally about 3.60 per kilo
