Extra DVR Hookup.?

Question

If I buy an extra DVR box just like the one's my parents have downstairs, can I hook it up in my room and recieve all the benifits they do, or do you have to tell Time Warners and pay extra?

You can get a DVR that you program by date & time like a VHS used to be programmed. There is no monthly fee of any kind.

Philips makes a ghood one and you can get it at Walmart.
