Question:

Extra Peanut Butter-Peanut Butter Cookies?

I want to make peanut butter cookies, but I haven't found a recipe that has enough of a peanut butter taste.

Does anybody have a recipe for peanut butter cookies with a really strong peanut butter taste? And please let me know if the cookies are chewy or not - we prefer the chewy cookies.

Thanks!

    yumm and yes they're chewy

  2. Add more peanut butter - and egg.

    You get chewy cookies from cooking them a little longer at lower heat, or by undercooking them slightly, and leaving them in the oven, after it's turned off, to bake on the after-heat. The latter is the best. I do that all the time with my famous oatmeal-cookies :)

  3. The best::

    1 C pb

    1 C sugar (you can use 3/4 c)

    1 egg

    Mix together until smooth.

    Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet two inches apart. If desired, roll in extra sugar before placing on cookie sheet.

    Press with fork and press again in opposite direction.

    Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°.

    Do not brown, do not over bake.
