  1. Sadly, this is happening as airports are increasing their landing charges. If it is a fuel charge then also you have no option. I know it stinks but it's that or see your holiday go down the tubes!!!! I genuinely feel sorry for people this is happening to.

  2. these should all have been covered when you paid for the holiday just check the paperwork. also if she over packs and luggage is overweight she may have to pay something then.

  3. Many tour operators are applying fuel surcharges and higher charges for Euro zone, if you havn,t been notified by your travel agent, ask them.

Edit, even though you have paid, the small print allows them to surcharge.

  4. I think if your airfare was already paid for, then no matter the gas cost, your tickets are locked in..(including tax) You might get an additional charges based on your luggage,  which depends on your carrier. Check ahead to be sure how much your allowed before being charged. Also might want to consider the cost of parking your vehicles there if thats going to be an option for you guys. Good Luck and Enjoy~~~~

  5. Having booked and paid for my holiday I  received a fuel surcharge from my travel company  it ended up being an extra £12 per person  per night , the surcharge was approved by ABTA- the holiday company absorbed 2% of the holiday price abiding by it's Fair Trading conditions, so be prepared !
