Extracting .rar files.........? ?

I am trying to extract .rar files and turn them into .package files so that they work with my sims 2? (:

I downloaded WinAce...but i dont know how to use it..

can anyone help me with this?

Use WinRar. It's easy to use and is free. You can do a search for it on the internet.

WINRAR or 7zip also reads .rar files

Download and install WinRAR, right click on the .rar file and select Extract Here.
