Extracurricular activities and clubs in high school!?!?

I'm in my sophomore year (10th grade) in high school and I haven't exactly done a lot for extracurricular activities, which universities seem to look at more often every year.

What are some things I can do? And what about clubs? I never really joined any clubs in my 9th grade and most of them weren't very active...

It really depends of what kinds of clubs your high school has. Like at my school, we have political clubs, volunteer organizations, a book club, and all kinds of other stuff. When I was a Freshman, I wasn't involved in many clubs either, except Marching Band, and when I started my Sophomore year I just looked around at all of the different kinds of clubs that were at my school, and went to meetings with a few of my friends. I ended up joining about four very different clubs that year that really interested me. All you can do really is join the clubs that interest you, and try out a lot of different things that you think might be fun.
