Extraterresstrials?

how can somebody doubt they exist,theres billions of planets in the universe....i doubt they've visited earth...but i really doubt where the only intelligent life in all of space.....so whats your take

Any one who doubts their existence either thinks you are talking about whether or not they have visited Earth or not or they don't understand the scale of the universe. Even if life requires the exact conditions of Earth to develop and live there would still be at least billions worlds with life. When it comes to the scale of the universe chance becomes certainty.

a better question... how can you believe in something solely based on a number game, that you don't really understand very well.  

not an insult, as NO ONE really understands planetary formation and our theories about the origins of life are a mite sketchy...

Sure, it happened... possibly its happening in thousands of places around the Universe, but the only real truth is... We Don't Know.

Rational people know that extraterrestrials- intelligent or not- are a near certainty.  Religion however has a very strong influence on public opinion and this is one of those instances.  They are very proficient at spreading their views without the general public awareness of the origins.

  If anyone's not convinced of the overwhelming odds, look up the "drake equation" on wikipedia.
