  1. If I could have a new bridge made or possibly consider dental implants. I have dental implants and couldn't be happier. Teeth do not last forever and if this bridge has lasted for over 20 years you are very fortunate.  I am not rich either but for me getting dental implants were an investment in my future.

Also did you know that sometimes they can re-tread teeth with more acrylic if your teeth are acrylic. Which is what they told me about my lowers. My uppers are porcelain over gold that isn't suppose to wear as bad.

  2. Not unusual, you had a great situation with your existing bridge. It seems to be time to replace them. As long as the anchoring teeth are in good shape then you would just have to have a new bridge made, the teeth would just be prepped and the Dr. take the impressions. As far as cost, you try a discount plan, depending on our location, you could save a decent amount of money on the new bridge. Usually 50%-80%. The plans are as low as $19.95 and the dental includes vision, chiropractic and prescription discount access also. They also have plans that include the previously mentioned and podiatry and physician discounts for as low as $39.95 per month and that is for family.  You could check http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/nicolec  they have all the information there and can sign up there. I could check for dentists in your area that participate if you email me your location. (zip).

    Good luck!!!

  3. Your bridge has served you well for 20 years. Today you have a well established treatment of choice in dental implants, if you can afford. Insurance coverage may be a tricky issue to tackle before you can decide. However, traveling overseas for dental treatment is also an attractive new option in affordability. Weigh your options in Hungry, Dubai, Thailand, India, or even Singapore. One of the recent links I came know - http://www.dentalcare-indiatour.com/dent... can be considered for price comparison. Good luck.
