Extreme fear of crickets?

I have an extreme fear of crickets I know its silly im not scared of any other bugs how can I get over this?

pick one up and think about how its just living like us, trying to survive. i was scared of roaches till i saw how they would take my cats food and run and take it to their kin. i picked it up and helped it with food. yeah im weird, but im not scared of em anymore

well im sure you know about the fact that you need to face your fears to get over them. you should probably take it step by step....like trying to stay calm when you see one. js breathe deeply......and if you can slowly get that done with time , you will get over it. js realise that the size of that creature is 10x smaller than urs. take small challenges and take your own time(no hurry)- gradually you will get over it.....all the best

The cricket is more scared of you then you are of him trust me.

The only way to defeat your fear is to face it.Capture one and observe it a little every day.Dont forget to take care of it.

Gradual exposure to the object of your fear will make you conquer it eventually.

i have irrational fear of moths so i know how you feel, sometimes i can control it it came with age and trying really hard not to act like loony, but sometimes it gets out of hand and i panic.talked about it with friend how has degree in psychology, didnt help, i dont think it can help talking only, hypnosis maybe one day...i believe would help. untill then i have my boyfriend and my cat to do moth slaying job =)

The practical answer is just forget about crickets even do not think about it.After some time u will se thar ur fear is diluting.

Just star a Cricket in it's face, and you will feel sorry for it because of it's BIG BLACK GLEEMY EYESLOOKING AT YOU ALL SAD.
