I had some bleeding early, well it was enough to fill a pantyliner but its been about an hour now and no more blood but I dont think it was my mucus plug because it didnt have mucusy stuff in it and it was after I had a cervix exam, now I am having extreme EXTREME pressure on the lowest part of my pelvic bone. Like I am having to hold the bottom of my belly up a little bit because it practically takes my breath away when I dont. It almost feels like he is trying to get even lower but it feels like there is no more room for him to get lower. It doesnt hurt just EXTREME pressure. I am scheduled for an induction September 2nd but I dont know if I am going to make it that long. Could this sound like labor is coming?

  1. Did your doc say if u are dialated at all? It sounds like labor is getting real close..A lot of pressure with bleeding is a good sign...Your baby is so low right now causing your cervix to dialate..the more baby pushed on your lower abdomen the more and more your cervix will dialate..That is why it is a good idea that when u are feeling this pressure that u continue to be on your feet as long as u can so it will speed up the labor process and will help u go into active labor sooner then anticipated..

You doctor without your consent might have even "stripped your membranes", a lot of docs do this nowdays without informing the patient and can cause some heavy cramps and pressure and some bleeding...If there is bleeding involved in this technique that usually means that labor will usually be in the next 48 hours =)

im not saying this is your case but it is very possible...stripping your membranes is an easier and more effective way of bringing on labor before an induction to see if it helps...U are full term now and baby is ready to come out and meet you..Not everyone noticed there mucous plug, i did with my first but not with my last 2.

If u can stand it try and stay on your feet and pace around your house, it will help and can bring on labor naturally and much sooner..Chances are I highly believe u will deliver your baby boy before your induction date...

    *cross your fingers* good luck!!!

  2. Well those darn dr's can hurt ya.  I was 38 wks went for an exam and when they did it hurt like h**l and I told the dr. it hurt... He said nothing to worry about then that night real late my water broke while I was in bed....

  3. maybe... congrats

  4. The pressure could just be the weight of everything, if that doesn't go away in a few hours, it's worth a call to your OB. As far as the bleeding, your cervix is very sensitive right now. I used to bleed a bit after an exam when I was as far along as you. Try to lay down and relax and see what happens in a little while. Good luck!

  5. It sounds like it. I thought my insides were going to fall out when I went into labor.

Just take it easy. Go to the Dr. if you feel nervous.

    Good Luck!!!
