Tomorrow is my first practice at football and everybody tells me that we are gonna get run until we throw up. (literally) practice is from 3-7 p.m. it's gonna be about 100 with humidity with full pads. What im asking is what and when should i eat. I don't wanna be starving during practice and have my energy down but i definitely don't want to eat and then when were half way done running be puking my guts out. Please help with anything you can offer.

  1. Football practice seems rough in that condition, I say you eat 3/4 of the amount of what you usually eat, should should eat a lot of carbs, such as rice, pasta and such, and DRINK A LOT OF WATER TODAY AND THROUGHOUT TOMORROW, so you don't get dehydrated in the heat. But don't drink too much water, then it starts bouncing in you stomach, about 1 hr before practice, stop drinking water. Practice will probably be 1-2 hr weight training, 1 agility and speed, and 1 hr running. Good Luck. Your going to do awesome :)
