Extreme temperatures....?

I am trying to find stats that can show that statisticaly if India is hotter place or Pakistan. Can someone help please? Thx!

  1. http://www.worldclimate.com/ has data on city by city and airport by airport, but that doesn't give a balance or overall feeling.

    I believed Pakistan averaged a higher altitude than most of India therefore should be cooler, but that seems wrong.   But the place with international statistics in short form is the CIA Factbook information site.

    Well no details, Pakistan gets "hot dry desert" but both range in altitude from 0 to multiple thousands of meters.

    Because of the size of India, they manage to be vague about average high temps although they mention getting up to 48C near the end. Unfortunately, some of the data is included in Figures and Tables in the Appendix which don't seem to be included in the table of contents.
