Extremely confused! Please help?

Question

I was pretty sure I was ovulating yesterday because I have been checking my CM and it was EWCM. Today I'm having a c**p load of discharge and at first it looked like EWCM then it turned brown and had alittle blood in it. I'm very confused! Can anyone explain this please?

I spot when I ovulate sometimes.  It's probably ovulation.  Especially if you had EWCM yesterday.

Do you chart your BBT? If you do you can know for sure if you ovulated or not. I just started this cycle. I think I am about to ovulate, but won't know for sure if I did until the temp goes up. It's normal for ewcm to have some red/brown/pink in it. I do my charting on fertilityfriend.com and they email you lessons that have been very helpful to me.

Brown blood just means there was some left over from your last cycle.  I get it sometimes when I am ovulating and TTC.
