good at using my pivot (most people in my age dribble right away)

  1. Working out makes you stronger and increases your capability of performing better. However, if you don't have the skills to use your strength with what's the point? You need to play more basketball. The workout helps, but you need more experience. Everyone starts out bad at first, but it comes with time. Just believe in yourself and you will do it. For blocking/stealing just keep your eye on the ball and when they are dribbling run past as if to block them, normally a teammate will help and if not you can go for a steal yourself. Just practice.

  2. First - be careful not to OVERDO it!  While I admire your dedication, don't get so buried in the gym that you neglect time on the court!  That's ultimately where your skills will be developed.

Second - all you do won't mean very much if you neglect sleep, smoke, or are careless about your diet.  You don't say anything about your dietary habits, but I hope you're not in the habit of "super-sizing" on a regular basis.  That will undo any gains you make through your workout regime.

Finally - I've found what separates the men from the boys is not talent, but what's between their ears.  You can't give up when things get boring or difficult.  You must get up when you are knocked down.  You have to keep going when others would have stopped.  You have to control your temper and channel your competitive instincts properly.  That can only come from being in these situations and coming through them with grace and maturity.  In short, the more you play, the more it will pay.

I'll be looking for you on TV some day.  Till then, work hard, & play hard.

  3. u might wanna slow down ur like mj already

  4. Dang boy you are gonna burn yourself out!! That is an extremely tough work out but if your dedicated then I guess your dedicated. There isn't much else to do just keep it up but make sure you know your limits.

O and if you wanted to work on ball handling then the best way to do that is by getting hands on and actually taking a basketball and working on it. GOOD LUCK :)
