Extremely expected to win Carling East Anglian Challenge - Heat 2
Capitalising on the form produced by his outstanding performances of the last two months, the David Pruhs trained white and black dog, Extremely, will deliver extremely excellent run at Yarmouth racecourse in a bid to win the Carling East Anglian Challenge
- Heat 2 on Saturday night, August 11.
The 2 ½-length clean victory in the Henderson Insurance Brokers 420 Dogs Only on August 4 was a big morale booster for the two-year-old veteran hound who will feel quite comfortable while running over 462 meters tonight after breaking from the black box.
The talented son of Droopys Kewell out of Coldwar Baby has been performing well since the dawn of the calendar year. After getting four runner-up ranks in a row during April-May, he elegantly accomplished a hat-trick of victories in the month of June. Each
one of these three was a high-profile event, and he defeated his rivals convincingly every time.
Extremely has just a few OR contests to his name but his record in this format has been extremely outclass. Thus, it is assumed that the skilled sprinter will be able to perform confidently and win emphatically in tonight’s mega marathon.
The only threat to him is Bittles Bar who has been on the podium for most of the times in his career. The M. White trained black dog debuted in April 2012.
After breaking his maiden on April 16, the novice runner gained two thirds and two runner-up ranks in a row in the month of May. During June, the talented son of Droopys Scolari out of Dooey Shaw elegantly won three OR events in a row.
The most amazing of all was his 3-length clean victory in The Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy that took place at Nottingham. He was the 2-1 favourite for that race.
On July 10, the dashing dog finished as the runner-up in a T2 race. He too has done well in OR format.
So, Bittles Bar will not let Extremely to go unchallenged. A stern duel is imminent between the two mighty hounds. Let us see who turns to be triumphant in the end.
