Question:

Extroverts vs. Introverts

I have always regarded myself as something of an introvert - I have never really been the kind of person that goes out and parades myself to the world, and I'm a bit socially anxious. But at the same time, I have discovered a love to perform, and I love stuff like doing improv comedy. How many people out there are extroverts, or introverts? I guess what I'm asking is, what does it really mean to be an extrovert or introvert? How do you act, and why do you judge yourself as one or the other? Is one better than the other? Personalities vary so much, it just doesn't seem like we all can be pushed into one category or another. What do you think?

  1. You can call Extroversion an act, state, or habit of being predominantly is linked with the life of other people. Extroverts enjoy involvement of other people in their daily life. They love to interact with other people and are generally enthusiastic, talkative, assertive, and gregarious in social situations

Whereas you can call Introversion a tendency linked with and interested in one's own mental life". Introverts are more reserved and less outspoken in large groups. Introverts like activities where they do not need to disclose about their selves such as reading, writing, music, drawing, tinkering, playing video games, watching movies and plays, and using computers, along with some more reserved outdoor activities such as fishing and hiking.

These both are states of mind. You cannot direct soemone according to your will or desire. Surely your surrounding plays a key role in your personality building.

So one can tend to be introvert or extrovert.
