Eye Contact Help???

I need some easy techniques on how to take off my eye contacts. I can put them on fine, but it's hard to take them off. I know the "pinch" technique, but everytime it feels like I'm taking off a layer of my eye. Once I even scratched my eye. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I've been new to contacts so is this normal! Please help... I'm desperate and I don't want to wear glasses again!

  1. if you feel like your riping off a layer your contacts are probably dry so you should put eye drops in your eyes and blink a couple times. then the "pinch" technique should work without hurting :]

  2. Taking an eye contact can be hard I have been there. Remember to wash your hands all the time when you are going to put your contacts and when you are going to remove them. I also scratched my eyes ones from taking them on and its not a very good thing to happen. What I do is have my nails cut very short to prevent eye scratches then  I open my eye a little bit with one hand and then with the other hand I take my thumb and index finger and I wet those two fingers with solution so they won't be dry and with the solution I have found its much easier to take the contacts off try it. I hope it works for you

  3. OMG, yeah, i hate the pinch method. When they showed it to me i was immediatly like 'Is there a diff way?' so they showed me. You basically stretch the top and lower lid of your eye with ur two hands like you do when you're putting them on and then you push gently but firmly against your eye and quickly push the two eyelids down together and it should pop out. Works for me! Sometimes it takes a bit so if it doesn't work for you dont rush it because it will irritate ur eyes after pushing down on it lots.

  4. what i do is wet your finger and move it around slowly so that you can get it off without having to hurt

  5. What i do is

i lean back(like you do when you put them on)

on your eyes (meaning like...hmm i dont how to explain it..get your fingers and make it wider)

then put your finger on the contact then once your have and feel conforble about it lead forward rigth over and then silmply take off...that how i do it

YOU COULD GET LAZER EYES TREATMENT LOL ;)

  6. dont worry! I have had conctacts for about a year and the first week was h**l on earth!!! lol but anyways...just calm down and follow the steps:

    1. Open your eye as wide as you do putting the contacts in

    2. Touch your contact and kinda slide them around...it should look wierd and you will know u will do it right cus your vision will b wierd

    3. Slide the contact down and keep on sliding it down with you finger until u know the contact is out and in you hand

*BE CAREFULL NOT TO LOOSE THE CONTACT THEY ARE VERY VERY EASY 2 LOOSE!!!!!

    Hope that helps!!

  7. ok

  8. just open your eye with both your middle fingers. use the bottom index finger and just stick it on your contacts, then pinch it a little bit and bring it out.

  9. you probably are taking off layers of your eyeball. Your eyeball is one of the most sensitive organs in your body. Just leave the contacts in and they will dissolve into your eye ball.

  10. when u go to remove the contact lense,        make sure that the finger/s  you're going to use are not dirty/infected first of all.

then make sure that your finger is completely dry. just get it close to your eye, and with the tip of your finger very slowly take it out ... =)

    gluck ;)

  11. Maybe the contact is too dry at that time of day. Take them out earlier or use drops before you take them out.

That just doesnt happen to me after 30 something years if wearing them. It sounds like they are too dry.

  12. put a drop of eye-drops or water or contact lens fluid on it and blink a few times before you try to grab it out
