Eye Contact Lenses?

Question

Ok so I want some eye contact lenses, their fashion type similar to that show called "naruto", though I don't watch it, I just like to afford some eye contact lenses. I heard someone say you can get blind from wearing contacts sometimes, so you're going to have to get them call "0.00 Plano. They say if I get them "0.00 Plano", it wont have no negative effects toward my eyes. Is this true?, or should I go see an eye doctor before I even get them.
