Question:

Eye Contacts -- please answer :)?

I just bought some colored contacts today, and was dismayed to find they are disposable and only last 30 days once opened. Of course I opened the package already, so I can't return them. I've never worn contacts before, but I know you usually need a contact case... Mine do not come with one. Instead they are packaged seperately in some liquid. Once opened, I assume you need to wear them 24/7. The brand is called 'Eye Zoo,' I bought them locally here in Japan and paid nearly $40 for them. I feel ripped off. Does anyone know what I should do with them once opened?? I don't think I will wear them while sleeping...

  1. Well, you definately have to get a case and some multi purpose solution to clean and store them in.

I presume even in Japan, those things will be available at just about any pharmacy.

And NO, you don't want to sleep with them on. They certainly aren't made for that.

  2. wow $40 for ONE PAIR of flatpack disposable colors?

eek.  and people say its more expensive to get them from the eye doc.
