  1. Yeah, at first I had a hard time with them, but I started with hard contacts.  Once I got that down, and decided the uncomfort wasn't going to go away any time soon, I switched to soft.  Since I was able to put in and take out hard ones, learning to do the soft was a piece of cake.  But, the first few weeks with the hard ones was extremelly difficult and sometimes painful!

  2. My first few tries were hard, but after a while you become so used to it that it doesn't even phase you anymore.

  3. It was hard for me. I hate poking at my eyes, but after the first week you'll be  a pro. Taking them out is a pain.

  4. the first time i tried putting mine in they were really drie and it took a while to get used to them, dont sleep with them in

  5. yes in the begginingg its freakin hard to get em in...i was having trouble as well but it gets easy when u get use to it.

  6. i attempted to get my first pair of contacts last week but ended up not getting them as i couldnt get them in my eye, i sat there for about half an hour and i couldnt help myself from blinking.

I went back today and miraculously was able to get them in after 5 mins... mind you all week i had been practicing touching the white of my eye so i guess that helped.

  7. The first few weeks I had my contacts I had huge problems getting them in... It would take like 20 min out of my morning schedule and I felt like a r****d because my mom and sister wear contacts and don't have issues with them.. But i've worn them for a long time now and I don't even have to think about it, I just get them in. Just like anything else in life, it just takes practice. No worries, you'll get it!

  8. It's gonna be hard to get them in for a few days. It was like that for me. It's because your eyes are not used to having something come too close to them, so naturally they will close right up when something gets too close. Keep practicing and pretty soon it will be a piece of cake.

  9. The first few days i had my contacts it took up to an hour to put them in... it was frustrating.

But I've had them for two years now.. and i takes literally one second to get them in. Don't worry, it only takes a few weeks to get used to.

  10. follow up with your eye doctor with any questions or concerns.  glasses are easier and look just as good.

  11. it was a piece of cake for me at times although there are times that ur eyes gets irritated since you have to really clean em and whenever dust comes in or it's windy or something... it gets really irritating specially when you have to put the lens in and it has this sort of dust in it...it can hurt... so i often take my sunglasses whenever i go out and take it off just as soon as i get to work so i won't have a hard time whenever i wear it. always bring a lubricant too..airconditioners caneasilly dry up the eye so always bring a lubricant. it's a different dropper compared to the usual cleansing 3 in 1 solution

  12. Yes. I still do. For that reason, I wear them FAR longer than I should without taking them out.

  13. You will have a hard time, maybe for the first couple months. Then it will be easy enough but maybe not a cinch. Eventually it will be like second nature. I've worn contacts for 9 years now and I can just put them in and take them out without a mirror. It will become second nature to you.

  14. Yes, i did have a hard time putting them in. You just have to get used to it.

  15. I did to begin with too, but you soon get used to them, so dont worry.

  16. First time it took me like half an hour to get them in, I was late for first period haha.

Now it only takes me 2 seconds, I don't even need a mirror.

  17. It took a little while at first, but be patient.   You'll get your own technique in no time.  Just remember what they told you at the doctor's office.  Look up, pull the lower lid down a bit and pop it right in the corner where there's the most white.  Just put a drop or two of saline on the lens - that's all you need.  If you put too much they will swim right off your finger.

  18. yes i got my 1st pair when i was 14 now 18 its hard but just keep trying you will get it good luck

  19. I had the hardest time as well. I sat down with a woman at the eye doctors office and tried to put them in for about an hour until I finally got them in! Once you put them in your eyes and then take them out, you realize you were making a big deal out of nothing!
