Eye Exam Fees?

Question

Hello, I live in Dublin, Ireland. Does anyone know how much the eye examination cost, in store like Vision Express. And are there any other good stores for eye exams and contact lens.

the last time i got mine tested it was about €30, but you are entitled to money back from tax. So bring your PPF number.  Specsavers applied for me, with Vision Express i had to do it myself

I went to specsavers, its like €30 for an eye exam but they're always giving out coupons in the paper so you can easily get it for €15. I got my contacts there too-they had to order them in and I got them within three days so its pretty good service as well

I went into specsavers to make an appointment for my eyes to be tested and to get contacts..i was told i have to pay 30 for my normal eye test and then 45 for my contacts test..load of c**p..i only use small local opticians because i find they are able to spend more time with the customers and they are cheaper as well..theres a great opticians on Thomas Street in town if you live near that way...the people that work there are lovely and they were brilliant helping me to pick out my frames..they also have a branch in the IFSC!
