I Recently fell asleep with my glasses on which i never do i Took them and got them adjusted at my eye doctors . About 2-3 days later i've been getting a bad headache and my left eye is killing me(my better eye) Its almost like i'm not seeing as well as i once was. Any Suggestions could they have not been adjusted right? i mean there straight i had no problems the first could days after the adjustment. I Rarely have problems with my eyes hurting Glasses not feeling right none of that. I'm a cook/dihwasher at restaurant and i usually go in for adjustments on my glasses every 2 or so weeks a month. I've been putting eye drops in my eyes but still not helping

  1. Adjustment is more important than most people think. If the lenses are sitting to close or too far from your eyes, it adjusts your prescription. Also if they are too high or too low, your eyes are not looking through the optical center of the lens, that's where "the sweet spot" or the best vision is in the lens. The higher your prescription or the more astigmatism you have, the more critical the adjustment is. Get them readjusted, if that doesn't help, it's time for a new exam, it is not uncommon for a prescription to change "overnight".

    Good luck

  2. I didn't used to have problems with my glasses & I've had them for 8+ years, now all of a suddent I've been getting headaches and I can't see well.

So obviously, I knew I needed a stronger(or lower) perscription, so I went to the eye doctor. My eyes were worse so I got a new perscription. MUCH BETTER.

Have you tried contacts? I just got them and have no problem what so ever.

    It's worth a try!

  3. You're glasses prescription may either bee to weak or too strong.

When you say "adjusted" you mean the frames, I assume, not the prescription, so maybe you need to look into getting your eyes checked and the intensity of your lenses changed.
