Eye color??

Question

if the daddy has blue/green eye color and the mother had blue eye color--what color will the baby eye color be? i know u (yahoo answers) maybe know the answer but i just want to see what u (yahoo answer) have to said about it..

It's all about statistics.  There's a high chance they will be blue, but not 100%.

blue because the genes in the blue will override the genes in the green eyes

There is a strong possibility that the eyes will be blue however, with the daddy having some green you also will have a possibility of green or  hazel and we are not adding in the color of the grandparents --there maybe a dominant or reccesive gene in there somewhere & baby may turn out w/ brown---- mother nature is tricky

It all depends, do any of the grandparents have brown eyes? The possibilities could be endless with heredity. There are dominant and hybrid genes that could turn up.
