  1. it should be fine...i have perscription contacts and glasses but i usually wear my glasses...i have 3 cases of contacts i've had for about a month and a half..and i haven't worn them yet and they're good until about 2013 or something like that..and mine are just the regulars...i can wear mine 14 times..or two weeks...so yours are fine..and if yours are the extendable wear contacts...don't even worry a thing about being able to wear your contacts....you can wear those like all the time...my mom has those..and i don't ever see her change her contacts..only time i see it is like maybe...nope...i don't ever see it!!..contacts last a while!!

  2. First of all, there are different types of lenses like dailies, two weeks, and monthlies. If they are daily or two week lenses, then I'd say NO and to throw them out. If they are monthly lenses, then I'd say it would be safe for another 2 weeks AS LONG AS YOU'VE CHANGED THE SOLUTION REGULARLY.

The reason why there are time limits on disposable lenses are because when you wear them every day build up sets in from the contents of your tears. So, if you've only worn them twice, I doubt there is any build up. However, there is also a sterility issue - which is why it's important that the solution had been changed. If they've been sitting in the same solution for a month, then I'd say toss them. They probably aren't sterile, nor are they moisturized enough to be safe not to scratch your eye.

  3. Umm my doctor told me that you can wear your contacts like 14 times if their not prescribed.

    Cause I wear non-prescribed contacts.

    So its okay.

  4. you can probably wear them a couple more times and be safe

  5. Depends on what kind of contacts you have.

    If they are dailies, no.

If they are two-week or monthly lenses, you should be able to get a lot more wear out of them. The time frame assumes daily wear for 8 to 16 hours.

  6. it really depends on how long they are good for.  once opened and used once the proteins and bacteria will sit on the contacts no matter how well you clean them.  if you are at or near the end of how long they are good for then i would just get a new pair, it's not worth the risk of an eye infection.

i was having the same problem and started to wear daily disposable so i didn't have any questions.
