Eye contacts new or old?

i woke up and put new contacts in but they were really blurry. i have extras from my old prescription but i was pretty sure these are my new ones. i dont know what my prescription is ( like all the numbers on there ) is there a date or something that says when you purchesed it on the box or anything?

  1. There is always a date, but that is an expiry date.

    Your newer prescription is probably higher numbers than the old one...

    if one box says...- 2.50....and the others say, - 3.00...then the higher number is probably the newest ones.

  3. It might just be getting used to your new prescription - sometimes it takes a while and things can seem worse rather than better. Or maybe you just got them the wrong way round - it is easily done and if there is a difference between your eyes that could be the answer - we've all done it!
