Eye cream at 17 years old?

im 17 and i have little to no under eye wrinkles but i hear "prevention is the best cure" and that i should start using eye cream now, i live in sydney australia and was wondering which type of products/ brands are suitable for me: i dont have many wrinkles yet so do i need a regenration eye cream ? or an anti wrinkle eye cream?? and do i have to invest in one of thoose expensive( 200-$300) products, its so confusing please help me out !! thankyou

relax. i'm 17 too and yes, prevention is cure. all you need is a simple moisturising one. i live in the UK, so i dont know if you have the brand called Simple. if you do, then you can use their moisturising one. i also use this cheap one from Boots at the moment. its just moisturising. the eye creams with antiageing ingredients you dont need and spending 200-300 dollars on eye cream is crazy. you can use any drugstore brand and it still works the same as the high end brands. i'm sure you have Avon over there, they have 1 called hydrofirming eye cream. i think it has a little antiageing ingredients but its moisturising, so thats all you need to worry about. other good ones are:

the body shop vitamin E eye cream

the body shop vitamin C eye reviver

these two are moisturising. and remember, a little goes a long way. when you get into your late twenties, you can start to use the eye creams that are regenerated or whatever.

honestly, 17 is a bit too young to be starting eye cream.  most of these eye creams are designed for older women.  you'll make your skin dependent on eye cream.  i use a moisturizer with an spf of at least 15.

It is never too early to prevent aging.  There are different eye cremes for different eye issues. I ussually reccomend age fighting eye creme to those who are under 30. (mary kay)

I wouldn't recommend you to start using an under-eye cream at this age, wait until your in your early 20's ... that's a good age to start "preventing aging" as aging starts to develop in the late 20's. If you do use a eyecream right now, it might be too rich for you, or simply be a waste of money as you won't see any results. So don't worry, and if you do want to prevent it right now, just wear a sunscreen with a minimum SPF 15 to help prevent wrinkles in general on the face, as everyone knows UV RAYS are what cause aging as they break down collagen and elastin bands underneath your epidermis.

Hi! naaah dont bother spending big, especially at your age. If you want to take care of your eyes simple steps can be taken.

first, when you are applying makeup in that area, and ESPECIALLY when you are taking it off, be very gentle. dont scrub or pull the skin to hard as this is a fast ageing habit people dont realise they are doing it.

second, a good night cream for under your eyes is fine. I use "QV" eye cream. you can buy it in little tubes from most pharmacys in australia i believe. Or if you cant find that see if "nivea young" line has an eye cream, as it is for young and sensitive skin and is really inexpensive. im pretty sure priceline or target or kmart all sell nivea face products.

the very very best tip for young skin you could possibly listen to is this one: Cleanse, tone and moisturise DAILY. NEVER leave your makeup on when you go to bed, no matter how tired you are, get it off!

following the simple, "cleanse in the shower, then tone and moisturise before your makeup in the morning, then the three steps again at night" will REALLY help your face all your life. my mum is 43 and people think she is my sister and im only 22..... she swears its coz if this remedy!
