Eye damage?

ok now please answer the question, and i thank you. (it happened awhile ago and please don recomand the docter in just purly curious)

lets say a 5 year old had a firework for off in their face and it cause eye pain (the docter said it was irritated and she needed to stay away from lights?)

can that have caused permanat damage?

Firstly... what the heck was a 5 year old doing near the fire work...

Next... "and I have no degree in this =p" If the doc. said they need to stay away from lights, then do what he said. and it all depends, how big was the firework? where did it hit? for how long? WHY WAS THE KID NEAR IT?!? and I would hope that it heals.

Yes it could cause long term dammage
