  1. My optometrist advised that for non-disposable contact lens, you have to change it once a year.  I tried extending it for about 3 months more and my eyes seem to dry up quickly.  By the end of the day, my eyes are red and irritated.  So, first, if you haven't changed your lenses, get a new pair.  I tried different kinds of eye drops but had a temporary effect and my eyes felt more dry afterwards.  I don't know if this is available in your place but EYE CARE lens lubricant worked for me.

  2. In store, try Refresh brand contact drops, or Refresh brand 'endura' drops (the contact ones are safe to 'drop' any time, the endura drops you'll ONLY put in 15 minutes before putting on your contacts. If at all  possible, opt for preservative free vials instead of preserved bottles.

  3. Refresh plus eye drop. They are great

  4. I use Visine for Contacts(you can get it at Wal-Mart, Traget, Rite Aid Walgreens, drugstores), its the most soothing for me. Each person is different so you might have to try a few different kinds.. but if its a constant ongoing problem I would go to the Optometrist and have it checked out

  5. The one I use is from Boots and it's called Blink.I have been told by an eye surgeon that this one is particularly good for contact lense wearers.

  6. Refresh or Vital Eyes contacts soother. Have to add that if your eyes are getting too dry, you should see your optician as you may have to give the lenses a rest for a while.  I use daily disposables and, although they are superb, I sometimes get dry eyes and my optician prescribed, through my GP, Hypromellose Eye Drops to re-moisturise my eyes while not wearing contacts for a couple of weeks.  Take care as eyes are precious and you must not risk any irritation.
