I need to go in to check my perscription so I can order my contacts but I need a place that will allow your perscription to go longer than 6 months. I don't want to have to pay $$$ out the butt so does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe a place that will have ur perscription for like a year or 2 without having to go back within that time?

  1. Bambi,

Footprint is right.  A contact lens prescription in the US is legally refillable for one full year;  unless restricted by your eye doctor for some reason.  If your current doc is limiting you to only 6 months, then ask why.  If you don't get a good answer, get a new eye doc.

  2. Contact lens prescriptions are pretty well always good for 1 year....in the US
