Eye floaters?

IM 16 and have them so bad..i hvae a huge clump of them in my left eye and and a whole bunch in my right eye..there so anooying i dont even want to go outside..they make me deppressed i try not to think about them but theres so bad i cant help it..how much worse can it get im only 16 and have at least 5 in each eye

  1. Do not worry. Nearly everyone gets them. They come and go, never stay in the same place.


  2. mine were terrible when I was that age, too.  There's nothing you can do about them, but they will relocate on their own with time.  Wear sunglasses outside at all times...it should help them to be a little less noticeable.

  3. Hmmm. Does your family have a past history of an ocular disease call Glaucoma?

    It's actually common at this age to be seeing floaters. As long as there is no sudden increase in the number and sizes of these floaters.

    If there is a past family history of glaucoma, I would advise you to have a thorough eye check to create a baseline because glaucoma do runs in the family.
