  1. An Eye for an eye makes World blind...Never heard this b4 but it is interesting and True.

You are trying to tell that Nothing Good will come from War and Rivalry except ruins. Excellent. Don't know when this Governments will understand this..I accept with you.

  2. A d**k for a d**k makes the whole world g*y.

  3. Nope. It would just create a world of cyclops'.

  4. Not alot of people believe that.  Say if the Chinese Triads killed an important member of La Cosa Nostra.  La Cosa Nostra will want revenge.  They're going call alot of hits to get revenge.

  5. I agree. None of us is without fault. None of us is truly able to judge others. If we were to apply 'an eye for an eye' to all who have wronged others in some way, the world would not only be blind but crippled. Isn't that where we are now?

Forgiveness and understanding enables us to see.

The world needs all of us working together to do something about the immense problems that face humanity.

  6. An "eye" for a pat on the head and questions as to how to make their useless lives easier, will result in the loss of the other eye, your property and your life.  Let the punishment fit the crime!

  7. "eye for an eye make a world blind?"

    Learn to spell

  8. I disagree with you, I think we should live in an eye for an eye world. If someone kills someone they deserve to be put through that same hurt. The bottom line is that sometimes peace just isnt the answer. letting a murderer get off the hook is just going to lead to more innocent deaths

  10. Yes, not productive in the least. Never will be.

I like your "analogy" of sorts.

In addition, what we refuse to see we will never see and what we don't see will never be understood. What we don't understand, we fear and what we fear, we attack. Blindly.

  11. Yeah, RIGHT.

What would you have done on the 12 of September, supplied terrorist with more airplanes?

We should allow anyone to do anything with no consequences.  I bet that would work wonderfully well for YOU, right up til the time someone took a chainsaw to your loved ones.  Or perhaps, put them in a gas chamber or an oven as in the WW II German Concentration and Death Camps.

Your philosophy would work in Utopia, unfortunately Utopia only exists in a galaxy far, far away.

Look at the world you live in.  It is populated with people, all different and some downright evil.  In the United States, we are right on the brink of being denied the right to use force to defend ourselves as individuals.  Since the US Supreme Court has held that the police, as an entity, has NO responsibility to protect you as an individual we are at the mercy of those who would take your eye.  Especially if they were certain they would be allowed to keep both of theirs.

Sorry, IMO passive resistance to evil or criminal activities only leaves you dead and for no reason.  If you fight and die, at least you have tried and you may have saved someone else.  I think people with the attitude you are expounding would rather live on their knees than die on their feet.  They are being protected by those in uniform while spitting on that uniform.  I spent 22 years wearing that uniform that  you might be safe in your home.  If you want to surrender that to anyone who asks you to, be my guest but don't assume I will do likewise.
