Eye glasses question!?

Okay so you know how come insurance agencies only allow you to have 1 eye exam per year? well i lost my pair of glasses and my vision is really bothering me. I dont have enough to pay for an eye exam which means i'd have to wait until september to make another appointment so i can get an exam. Should i buy those cheap glasses from Sams club or the supermarket until my next eye appt.???

If you have a glasses Rx that was done within the last 2 years - call and get a copy of your Rx from your dr.  You can have it filled anywhere so you can go to Sam's club if you choose.  

Some offices only write Rx for 1 year...but most should do it for 2 years.  But if you only wear readers and get away with just the over the counter readers from the store, do that because it would definitely be cheaper.

Cohens offers eye exams for like 20 dollars (ny and nj in other selected states which is very cheap if you can go to one of those places. After you get your prescription you should go to www.zennioptical.com and order your glasses they have complete glasses for as little as 8 dollars. I normally buy glasses from them and they are very good and they deliver in around 2 weeks. Doing that you might get an eye exam and glasses for as little as 60 dollars.. They are not brand name glasses or anything and at least you will be wearting an up to date pair of glasses.
