Heeeeeey!

Sorry I have posted 3 different questions in the make up section...just it is 10:00AM and i am about to get ready so i have some questions!

Well I have light long brown hair.

dark dark dark brown eyes (they almost look black...ALSMOST...)

and i have extremely fair skin.

What would you suggest for make up?

like eye liner colors..?

normally i put on..

powder

black eye liner all the way around my eye (very thin layer)

and mascara on the top and bottom of my eye.

The lady said is should not put eye liner all the way around my eye....

do you agree?

my eyes are kind of mediem shaped..

see i thought my eyes looked fierce with the black eye liner around my eye....

  1. dont wear thick black eyeliner & just wear it on bottom. and wear like a brown eye shadow on top. and if you wear really black mascara it will look really good.

So just a thin line of black on the bottom, brown on top, blackest black mascara, whatever powder you use

  2. use black or brown

  3. Yes. Do the full eye in the liner. It will make them POP :]

    Good luckk!

  4. I'd say put your eyeliner (www.urbandecaycosmetics.com) only at the top. It looks very sophisticated yet subtle. I have pretty fair skin in the Winter, myself. I wear brown eyeliner in the Winter and black in the Summer. Good luck!

  5. I would have to see a pic to be able to give you personalized advice, but normally I don't think eyeliner all the way around the eye is that flattering, and especially if you're pale it can wash you out and make you look kind of emo. I would try doing a thin line on the upper eye and none on the lower lashline, followed with some mascara. If you need to ease out of doing the full eye, try dotting a little bit of liquid liner along the lash-line. If you don't feel like your eyes pop enough, try putting a little extra concealer under your eyes - that makes your eyes stand out more and you look less sleepy. Another thought is to try brown eyeliner and mascara, which have a more natural look and wouldn't look so harsh on your pale skin. The other thing that comes to mind is that if you're pale, wearing powder can make you look a little ghostly. Your skin should have some glow and dimension. You might want to try switching to a tinted moisturizer or liquid foundation. I would also use a bit of blush or bronzer to warm up your skin a little. If you do want to continue using powder, I love Bare Escentuals mineral makeup - it's a great powder and if you get the starter kit it comes with a bronzer and a great shimmer powder that makes your skin glow (as well as makeup brushes). I'd finish with a sheer, reddish lip gloss, stain, or lipstick. Coral is another really pretty summer lip color.

  6. I agree.

Try making a symmetrical line of the the shape of your eye and right were it cuts in the middle is where you should stop when using eyeliner.

[Tip: This makes eyes look bigger and more awake.

Also, being pale skined you should try a plum eyeliner.

Since you are fair skinned I would try a bronze color.]

Check out Wet n Wild khol eyeliner in bronzed/bronze.

You can get this at your local drugstore.

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you

  7. yeahh its fine

  8. although you have dark eyes, you say your skin is quite fair, so you need to be very careful with black eyeliner, it can look hard, S****y and witchy if your not careful.

i suggest trying to go for a dark brown, or even a charcoal which is not quite as stark a black. maybe use an eye pencil as opposed to a liquid liner, as the pencil can be smudged to make the look softer and sexier than a stark line. the lady is right, dont do it all the way around. do all the way on your top lid, but only a quarter or halfway on the lower lid. less is more when you have big eyes. especially if you have pale skin. you can be a bit more daring with the eyeshadow coz of your dark eyecolour. but start of with neutral colours. shimmery browns or really really soft reddish-pinks to practice with, then you can try smokey greys and quirky greens even!

use a good lash chunking mascara and a light concealer under your eyes and your eyes will pop far better than they would using a stark black eyeliner.

  9. If you like the way the blck looks all the way around then that is great! Do whatever you are comfortable applying and whatever you think makes your eyes pop out the most. if you have fair skin with dark eyes maybe try using a lighter eyeliner--believe me-- it still does the same job as the black but since your skin is so fair you could try a brown-- same for the mascara-- does the same job but helps keep the look fresh and clean-- sometimes for day to day the black can be too dramatic save it for a night out with the girls. have fun with your makeup--- play with it and try different things. if you arent sure you want to invest the money in buying a ton of makeup you can go to any drug store and get "wet and wild" to try before you buy a more expensive brand. or you can actually buy what are called "lots" of samples online on ebay-- this is great because they are usually cheap for alot of samples that you can actually use more then once. have fun with it and even have friends help it could be a fun girls night in--- i wouldnt recommend going to like a Mac counter for help because all they want to do is paint you and get you to buy stuff. hope this helps

  10. i sometimes wear black eyeliner around my eyes but most of the time i only wear it halfway i love different color liners like navy which is an alternative to black and green looks great for brown eyes

  11. put eyeliner on your lid and put some brown eyeshadow blend it...it will look good on you

  12. i think you shouldn't put as much eye-liner,

since you have fair skin, it would look too pale.

Put some eye-liner only on the bottom and a TINY layer on the outer corners.

that's what i do, and also apply black mascara.

This should make your eyes pop, but not make it look over done.

  13. Put eye liner all along the top, and then on the bottom, line your eye about half way--if you're looking straight ahead you wanna stop just about where your iris is.

Also, you can try to use navy eyeliner.  The blue makes the whites of your eyes whiter.
