Eye make up..........

ok i have hazel eyes that tend to turn more green at times. theyre almond shaped and medium sized. in pics they seem to look smaller and kinda squinty.

i want to make them pop and seem bigger....any suggestions on what to do with my eye makeup......

line your eyes with a brown eyeliner...not the rims though, cuz that makes them seem smaller...line the lashes...

then use lighter colors for eyeshadow, because darker will make your eyes seem smaller...try a matte (or matte with a little sparkle) light lavender or light purple... applied with either your fingers or a brush to your eyelids (not above...) never use those wierd foam things that come with the compact.

Some colours you should use to make your eye colour pop more would be : golden brown, Apricot, soft purple, soft peach, plum, deep khaki, forest green, cool pink, warm taupe.

Green and purple compliment each other. So if you want to bring out the green more wear purple.

Tip: If you have any eyeshadows that you do not use try mixing up the colours and creating your own. If you find a colour you love take it to the store and match it with an eyeshadow there. If you don't want to buy it just take down the information about it : brand name colour code and name, etc.

A good start to complimenting your eye is applying the right colour correctly. So after you get some colours that work with your eye colour you have to apply and blend well. Yes using the three tone method is great but it isn't the key thing that makes your eyes pop.

The light shade ( which is usually a neutral colour ) is applied over the whole eye area from lashes to brow bone.The medium shade is applied to the mobile lid. The dark shade is applied in the crease. BLEND!

curl your lashes, apply mascara and brush them out with an eye lash brush to avoid clumping. Nice big long lashes really make the eyes appear bigger. Apply the mascara to both top and bottom. But be carefull on the bottom. I see people do it all the time and their eyes look scary! The way they apply it really fans the eyelashes on the bottom out and thinmaking them to wide eyed like they haven't slept in awhile but just drank a gallon of expresso! If that happens juss apply it to the corner bottom lashes or do not apply so much just a sweep will do.

White eyeliner really opens your eyes up and makes them appear brighter - which helps when your tired. Apply the white eyeliner to the bottom lash line and in the corner of the eyes.

Just a thin line of eyeliner along the top lashes will do fine. Go with black, purple or green eyeliner. Playing up the colour really makes eyes pop. And if you don't have time to put on the eyeshadow smudging the coloured eyeliner will create a coloured smokey eye look.

Keep your eyebrows manicured. If your eyebrows look messy its going to take attention away from your pretty eyes (almond shaped eyes are considered to be the perfect shaped eyes) and reflect badly on them too.

Keep your lips neutral. If you try to apply alot of colour on them - mainly dark, in can take away from your eyes. keeping your eyes the darkest (not nessasarily using 'very dark' eye make-up - which can actually make your eyes smaller)  feature on your face will make them bigger and people will look at them and notice them alot more. The first thing they will look at.

To make your green hazel eyes pop, and look bigger,

Wear reddish toned eyeshadows such as reddish brown, gold or bronze. Red is the complimentary color of green, so the green will pop. It doesn't have to be dark, just have some red in it.

Brown or black eyeliner on top lid only

White eyeliner on waterline (Rimmel Soft Kohl in Pure White)

Black or brown mascara.

use eyeliner. eyeliner makes anyone's eyes seem bigger+use mascara+line both your top and bottom lashlines with gold eyeshadow

Okay, start with applying brownish eyeshadows! =)

What you do is put white eye shadow over your whole eyelid and under the brow. Then put light brown shadow all over the lid. Then put a darker brown in the crease of the eylid. =) That would make your eyes pop. You might want to try black mascara too.

If i had hazel/green eyes i would wear browns and even greens. When you put liner on put on top and put on bottm also but DONT put across the whole bottom cause that makes eyes look smaller. Go like half way and then blend it alittle so its not so blunt. Good Luck!

When you apply eye shadow use three different tones a light medium and dark.

Here's what to do:

You start with the medium all over your eye lids with a medium sized brush.

Then you take a more narrow brush and use it with the darkest color sweep it on the outside of your eye and around the top where your eye lid goes in.

The lightest color should go on your brow bone, and the inner corner of your eye.
