i don't like the TOO MUCH make up look ... but not a totaly nude look

[basically i hate having a thick line of liner all the way around the eye

or overly BRIGHT stripes and such on my eyes

but still like to do something interesting w/ my eye make-up]

so i have DARK brown eyes they're on the bigger side

long lashes [i always wear mascara so ya]

  1. Be like me and my friend, look for some colors you really like i just mess around with them. trying blending colors together. make up your own thing.

at least in that way, you'll know what looks really good on you.

  2. Put on rainbow eyeliner and rainbow eyeshadow. i just thought of it bu i hope i helped. good luck!

  3. I similarly have large, dark brown eyes with long lashes. In my opinion, that's really the best possible combo to have! You can pull of natural, seductive, classic, and innocent looks. Here are some of my favorites, and it sounds like they'd look perfect on you, as well---

    Classic:

-Use a light coat of mascara evenly on the lashes, aiming for a soft, fanned effect. (try: maybelline define-a-lash)

-Use an eyeshadow that is a subtle gold neutral as your base, apply to the lid only. (try: nars nightwalker)

-Use a chocolate brown shadow to add depth by sweeping it over your crease and smudging it lightly on your lower lash line. (try: bare escentual 'you can never be too rich' brown)

-The overall effect will emphasize the different tones of brown in your iris and give a soft, sweet look by widening the eyes.

    Sultry:

-Curl the lashes if they tend to lie flat. Intense lashes are key for this look. (try: shu uemera lash curler)

-Apply a mascara that lengthens and separates like the one I mentioned above. Then go over it with a volumizing, uberblack mascara to plump the lashes and really add smolder. (try: diorshow ultimate blackout)

-The following steps can be done with either green or purple tones of eyeshadow, but you will need 2 variations for either-- a light, and a dark.

-Use the lighter shade on your entire lid.

-Use the darker shade to sweep over your crease, moving slightly out and up at the corners of the eye for a s**y but subtle cat-eye effect.

-Use the darker shade to smudge around your lower lash line, producing a colored variation on the classic 'smokey' eye.

-Optional: apply a black kohl liner to the waterline and UNDER (yes, under!) the top lashes, which you will have to pull your lid up a bit to apply. This is my favorite trick, as it avoids applying liner all around the eye, but still gives fantastic definition and the illusion of fattening the bases of the lashes. (try: guerlain kohl powder eyeliner. It WILL NOT smear, even if you cry.)

*Green and purple are the best shades for a variation on the smoky eye because while they are edgy, they are also less harsh than black/pewter combos, and they add warmth to dark brown eyes.

    Hope those work for you!

  4. you can try plum colors or pinks.

i have green eyes and i love to play up my eyes,

i get my make up from MAC

and the make up specialists there will really help if you need it.

    i hope this helps(:

    -cassidy

  5. were some light brown and dark brown and mixe them and it looks really pretty

if that doesn't work for you try other nutral colors

please pick me best anser i dont have so please

  6. I agree with you on not liking the too much look

I have dark dark eyes too and purple eye shadow always makes them POP!

i have urban decay eye shadow and i love it!

Also i really love goldish eye shadow too

    as for the eyeliner

    keep it simple

i like to do brown eye liner for the day and black for night.

but only occasionally i usually dont use any eye liner so i cant really help you with that!

  7. 1.Start from the corner of your eye, trace along your lashline untill just passed the lashline, and flick.

2.You can also create smokey eyes with different colours like purple.

3.Something that is also popular is 'gunmetal' eyes, which you use a shimmery grey shadow all over your lid, and dust some on the bottom.

4.You could line your top lashline with a black/brown eyeliner, smudge, than line half on the bottom and smudge. Than sweep a gold shadow in the crease of your eye.

5.You could try one of those eyeshadow sets made for a certain colour eye.

6.Maybe even a bright mascara, max factor has some bright ones.

7.Green metallic eyeliner looks great on brown eyes too.

You could also try a bright eyeshadow, but blend it so its not too bright. Colours like green, gold, pink and light purple.

8.There are tons of fake eyelashes too, they look great !

9.Lining your top & bottom lashlines with different bright colours
