Eye mucous discharge!?

Question

recently, when i wake up, i notice alot of mucous discharge that actually make my eyebrows stick together. i already contacted my Doctor and iam going to see him tomorrow. i wear contact lenses but not all the time though. i know that this happens when there is an infection. But i dont really have any symptoms for an infection. i dont have red eyes, itchy eyes or anything of that sort. i just need to know some more info regarding this so i can know excatly what my doctor will talk about :)

why do you think this is happening to me ?

by the way, i dont sleep with the contacts, i clean them everyday and i never over use them.

I get that sometimes, but only when I have hay-fever. maybe some anti-histamines would help, and making sure that you sleep with you're windows shut.
