I usually take a shower with my contacts in my eyes. but when i took a shower about a week ago i got a lot of water in my contact lenses. when i pulled them off, they were like stuck to my eye and i had to yank them off and it made my eyes water. now every time i blink when my contacts are out i get this sharp pain at the top of both of my eyes. what is this?

  1. If you are having pain when your contacts are out, you may have scratched/damaged your cornea.  When the contact is in, it may be covering the area and that is why you do not have pain wearing the lens.

I would recommend having your eyes checked by an optician or ophthalmologist.

  2. They're too dirty, replace them. If it continues, then you have a problem and should see whoever prescribed you the lenses.
