Eye problems after pupil dilation? Please help...

Hello, on Saturday, I had my eyes dilated. It was about 4 in the afternoon when I left, and it was cloudy and rainy. I wore either a) my sunglasses or b) the flimsy lenses provided as soon as I left. However, I stoppped wearing them when I got home inside the ohuse.

Today I have been noticing that my eyes are "bothering me a bit". They feel very tired, and were on an occasion or two today, sensitive to light. Now, I will add that I was on the computer for most of the morning,w ith only a break to eat lunch and shower.

Is it ppossible that I injured my eyes by not wearing sunglasse sin the house for the vening after my eyes were dilated, and keeping th ehouse lights on like normal?

Can you damage your eyes this way, or are those glasses more for comfort than anything else?

Please help. What should I do, if anything?

  1. The drops and not wearing sunglasses will have no lasting effect.

It is more likely that your eyes are tired and dry form excessive computer use.  Take a break, take a walk, get some exercise.
