Eye removing proteins?

wtf? yh exactly what i thought. I saw some eye drops on ebay that apparently remove proteins from the eyes, is this bullsh*t or what? i dont get it?

  1. Contact lens wearers need to remove protein from their lenses--the better all in one solutions have an ingredient to do this.  Before those were available, you were supposed to do a special monthly enzyme treatment to take care of this.

    I have never heard of someone needing to do this on their naked eye.  Tears usually wash the protein away--the sponge-like quality of soft contacts is what causes the problem.

  4. I imagine the proteins they are talking about are the skin cells that fall into the eyelashes and eyes.
