Eye sight and vision?

i went to eye doctor not long ago and have been informed that i am a little bit near sighted am i and the only one in my family without glasses. I really dont want to wear glasses but i also like playing handheld video games. Please tell me if there is any way to improve my eyesight!

Well, you could stop eating and drinking...that way you will stop growing...and if you don't grow, your eyes won't change.

Sorry, there is nothing sensible you can do...that is just the way you are growing and changing.

Look around you...millions are wearing glasses and contacts.

If there was a way, don't you think everybody would be doing it ?

Nope and its just going to get worse. Glasses are not the end of the world. Get contacts if you're old enough, then its like you don't have glasses but your eyesight is fixed.

This site tell you about nearsightedness. What did the doctor tell you other than that? It sounds as if he did not give  a prescription for glasses at that time. At some point you might have to wear them. (Lots of people wear galsses, no problem)  But there is also contacts you could try. Some people can't wear them tho. I can't. I have worn glasses since I was 10 years old. About improving your eye sight, I would contact the eye doctor and inquire about it. It is always better to be safe about what would be good for you. Sorry, no way to improve your sight except to get the glasses. (other than corrective surgery, but I don't think your vision is bad enough to warrant it)

If it is just a little bit near sighted then you can most likely get away with wearing them only when you feel it's necessary, like TV, driving, and movies.
