Question

I wear specs and the number is still increasing.What can i do to stop it or reduce it?Please don't give senseless answers,you won't get ten points.Any good suggestions?

I don&#039;t think you can.

All throughout my childhood I&#039;ve worn glasses and i used to put them of at 6 when I&#039;d get up then take them off at 10 when I&#039;d go bed. It didn&#039;t get much worse as i wore them Non stop! I even put them on if i went to the toilet in the middle of the night!

Now i wear contacts although i might go back to my glasses as i don&#039;t think these do any favors for my sight.

Try to talk to spec-savers about it, that&#039;s were i go and their quite helpful :)

Your eyes might be getting worse with a lack of vitamin A or C, Just remembered, if you don&#039;t have carrots and other vitamin A substances for a long time it can eventually make you blind. This might be related as to why your eye sights getting worse.

eat carrots, take korean carrot tea (good for liver and eyes), eat fish, take vitamins, and avoid computers. im trying that alot.

also..dont read with lights off

i heard from my optomotrist that if u use long distance glasses to see close distance things it can worsen ur eyesight. Well currently iam trying eye excersizes cuz alot of ppl have been saying that if u do them regulargy u can regain ur sight bak to even 20/20 vision. So i suggest looking up how to do eye exercises and trying them out.

Nothing really.  Eyesight is determined by the size and shape of your eyes and you can&#039;t change those.  Vitamins can help your eyes stay healthy but won&#039;t improve your eyesight.

Has your eye been checked for carats.  That could be part of your problem.
